Transaero Airlines inaugurates seven new routes

  • Transaero Airlines began seven new routes at the start of the winter season, all originating in Moscow, six of which were international across five different countries, while one route was domestic. Six out of seven routes will face direct competition, and even the seventh, namely from Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) to Paphos (PFO), will probably be up against numerous charter services. The longest sector is the Vnukovo to Paphos route at 2,348 kilometres, while the shortest of the seven new routes is also from Vnukovo, this time to Donetsk in Ukraine, at just 835 kilometres.
