  • AIS Airlines took to the skies on Monday, 4 November with services from Münster/Osnabrück (FMO) to Stuttgart (STR). Run by the Dutch flight training, maintenance and wet lease specialist, the airline offers double daily Monday to Friday rotation on the route. Arend van der Meer, CEO of AIS Airlines, commented: “The regional domestic market beside the network carrier in Germany is not dead. We see the possibility to grow in this perfect niche as an independent carrier”. Detlef Döbberthin, Manager Aviation Marketing of Münster/Osnabrück Airport, is also supportive of the new venture: “The Jetstream 32 is the perfect aircraft to develop this route which has high business demand in both directions”. AIS Airlines is establishing a base at Münster/Osnabrück and is planning to expand its business there.
