  • Jazeera Airways has become the second carrier (after Wizz Air) to launch commercial passenger flights at Dubai Al Maktoum (DWC), with the introduction on 31 October of twice-weekly (Thursday and Saturday) flights from Kuwait (KWI). The 860-kilometre service will be operated by one of the airline’s 14 A320s, and will complement the carrier’s on-going service to Dubai’s main airport. Last Wednesday (30 October) was the eighth anniversary of the airline’s first commercial flights, from Kuwait to Beirut and Dubai.
