Polet Airlines commenced operations on its first international route from St Petersburg (LED) on 3 November. The airline, which already serves the Russian cities of Voronezh and Belgorod (each with twice-weekly frequencies) from the airport, added Vilnius (VNO), the capital of Lithuania, to its offering there. Twice-weekly frequencies are offered on the 650-kilometre route, which is operated using Saab 2000s.
