Royal Air Maroc launches second route to Canary Islands

Royal Air Maroc’s inaugural arrival in Tenerife Norte was greeted by a fire truck salute. The passengers were received by the airport’s Director, Pedro José Soriano Molina; Royal Air Maroc’s Country Manager Spain, Achraf El Hassani); the President of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Carlos Alonso Rodríguez; and the Canary Government’s Sub-Delegate, Guillermo Diaz Guerra.  Check how Tenerife Norte’s firefighters performed in this week’s FTWA  and make sure you  cast a vote in this week’s public Cake Vote .

  • Royal Air Maroc grew its offering to the Canary Islands last week, as it launched services from its Casablanca (CMN) hub to Tenerife Norte (TFN) on 29 October. The carrier, which already operates a thrice-weekly schedule to Gran Canaria (as well as more frequent services to four further destinations in the Spanish mainland), now offers thrice-weekly flights to Tenerife Norte, which it operates using ATR72-600s.
