Germania launches two Hurghada routes as well as Bremen-Vienna link

  • Germania has recently started three new services, two to Hurghada (HRG), as well as an operation to Vienna (VIE). The weekly services to the Egyptian hot-spot are operated from Erfurt (ERF) and Rostock-Laage (RLG), with both sectors being flown by 737-700s (both on Wednesdays), with no direct competition. Both new services began on 6 November. In addition, the Austrian capital was linked to Bremen (BRE) twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) from 7 November, and the airline will become the only carrier flying the city-pair. The 780-kilometre sector will be flown by the airline’s 150-seat A319s, and is currently Germania’s only route into Vienna.
