Air Arabia’s Sharjah to Hofuf
A cake was baked, and gifts exchanged, to welcome Air Arabia to Hofuf Airport in Saudi Arabia, the airline’s tenth destination in the Kingdom. The airline is operating four weekly flights to its base at Sharjah in the UAE.
- Air Arabia has made Hofuf (HOF) its tenth destination in Saudi Arabia, with the launch of flights there from its Sharjah (SHJ) base on 18 November. The route will be served four times weekly by the airline’s A320s. Hofuf becomes the airline’s 87th global destination. Adel Ali, Group CEO, Air Arabia, said: “We are delighted to launch the regular service to Hofuf-Al Ahsa’a, which testifies our promise to expand our Kingdom-wide presence. As we are committed to offering our value-for-money services to even more destinations in the Kingdom, we will continue to evaluate opportunities in this vibrant market. That said, we are confident that the increased air connectivity between the UAE and Saudi Arabia will further contribute to the ever strengthening social and economic ties between both nations.” Air Arabia currently operates over 80 non-stop weekly flights from its Sharjah hub to Riyadh, Jeddah, Madina, Dammam, Qassim, Yanbu, Taif, Hail and Abha in Saudi Arabia. The low-cost pioneer also flies over 10 times weekly to Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah from its Alexandria hub in Egypt.
