Royal Jordanian adds fifth destination in Iraq
- Royal Jordanian inaugurated operations on its fifth route to Iraq last week with the launch of services on the 830-kilometre route from Amman (AMM) to Mosul (OSM) in the north of the country. Beginning on 12 November, the route is offered with twice-weekly frequencies using ERJ175s. Royal Falcon, Jordan’s second carrier, provides competition on the route, which it serves with once-weekly frequencies. Other Iraqi destinations operated by Royal Jordanian are Baghdad, Erbil (each served with nine weekly frequencies), Basra and Sulaymaniyah (four weekly flights to each).
