Biman Bangladesh Airline resumes flights to Myanmar

Air Marshal Jamal Uddin Ahmed (retired), Chairman, Biman Board of Directors was on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon to commemorate the launch of twice-weekly flight from Yangon to Dhaka. The 970-kilometre sector will be flown on Mondays and Thursdays by the airline’s 737-800s.

  • Biman Bangladesh Airlines has resumed flights on 9 December from Dhaka (DAC) to Yangon (RGN) in Myanmar, after a gap of over seven years. The twice-weekly service (Mondays and Thursdays) on the 970-kilometre sector will be operated by 737-800s. No other airline serves the route.
