Conviasa launches Panama City-Managua service
- Conviasa, the flag carrier and the largest airline of Venezuela, launched on 5 December a new service from Panama City (PTY) to Managua (MGA), in Nicaragua. The 816-kilometre sector to Nicaragua’s capital will be served weekly (Sunday), utilising the carrier’s 104-seat E190s, and will face direct competition from Copa Airlines’ 19 weekly flights. The service is an extension to the carrier’s current daily flights between Panama City and Caracas.
