Eastar Jet adds daily Seoul Incheon-Hong Kong link
- Eastar Jet, the South Korean LCC, has become the latest carrier to offer service between Seoul Incheon (ICN) and Hong Kong (HKG). On 5 December it launched daily flights on the 2,080-kilometre route, the airline’s seventh from Seoul’s major airport. Competition on the route comes from Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Korean Air (all operating four daily flights), as well as daily flights from Jeju Air, Jin Air and Thai Airways. Eastar Jet is examined in more detail in this week’s airline profile.
