Ukraine International Airlines links Kiev and Bangkok
- Ukraine International Airlines, the flag carrier and the largest airline from Ukraine, extended its international network with the launch of a new service from Kiev Boryspil (KBP) to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) on 7 December. The 7,390-kilometre sector will be operated weekly (Saturday) using the airline’s 285-seat 767-300s, but this will increase to thrice-weekly from 17 December. There is currently no direct competition on the route, though in January Windrose Airlines plans to start serving the market.
