Aeromexico commences three new international routes
- Aeromexico started three new international routes in the last week, including linking Guanajuato (BJX) and Guadalajara (GDL) with San Francisco (SFO). The latter, a daily route, started on 12 December, and will be flown in competition with United Airlines’ five times weekly service, while the former thrice-weekly operation began a day later on 13 December, but faces no direct competition. The last of the new route trio commenced on 16 December, and will see the capitals of Mexico and Ecuador linked by the SkyTeam carrier, operating a daily service between Mexico City (MEX) and Quito (UIO), currently against no competition. All three city-pairs will be flown by the airline’s 124-seat 737-700 fleet.
