Jetstar Airways jets off to Denpasar from Adelaide

Jetstar Airways launched its second international destination from Adelaide (ADL) in the space of two days on 17 December (following the start of thrice-weekly flights to Auckland the day before), commencing the thrice-weekly route to Denpasar (DPS). The 3,753-kilometre sector will be flown by the LCC’s 180-seat A320s. Competition comes in the form of Virgin Australia Airlines, which currently operates the route on a six times weekly basis.
