Pegasus Airlines adds another domestic route from Sabiha Gökçen
- Pegasus Airlines has added domestic destination #28 to its burgeoning hub at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), adding a thrice-weekly connection to Şirnak (NKT) in south-eastern Turkey. Started on 17 December the 1,173-kilometre sector will be operated by Pegasus’ fleet mainstay – the 189-seat 737-800. Turkish Airlines provides direct competition from Sabiha Gökçen, with four weekly 737-800 flights, as well as indirect competition on the domestic route from Istanbul Atatürk, with a five times weekly operation.
