Tigerair Singapore makes Ningbo its latest Chinese destination
- Tigerair Singapore chose 26 December as the launch date for its new service from Singapore (SIN) to Ningbo (NGB) in China. The 3,660-kilometre route will be served three times per fortnight with service on alternating Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using the airline’s 180-seat A320s. According to Ho Yuen Sang, COO at Tigerair Singapore, “Ningbo’s comprehensive and reliable transport networks makes it an ideal first stop for those wanting to explore various key Chinese cities in a single itinerary.” It becomes the airline’s fifth destination in mainland China (after Guangzhou, Haikou, Lijiang and Shenzhen), as well as serving Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
