United Airlines strengthens its domestic network with three new routes
United Airlines’ Topeka to Chicago O’Hare
Topeka Airport began commercial services on 8 January with the launch of United Airlines’ flights to Chicago O’Hare. A fabulous cake was baked to commemorate the airline’s twice-daily services, which are operated by United Express’ ERJ 145s.
United Airlines celebrated the launch of daily flights from San Francisco to Indianapolis with a cake on 7 January. This is the airline’s seventh route to Indianapolis Airport.
- United Airlines, which in the previous month commenced thrice-weekly seasonal flights from Denver to Fort Myers, expanded its domestic network with three new services, all of which were launched on 7 January. The carrier commenced its seventh route to Indianapolis, IN (IND) with the launch of the 3,129-kilometre sector from San Francisco, CA (SFO), which is served daily utilising its 120-seat A319s. In addition, the Star Alliance member inaugurated two new services from Chicago O’Hare, IL (ORD) to State College, PA (SCE) and Topeka, KS (FOE), both of which are served twice-daily by United Express’ 50-seat ERJ 145s. No other carrier serves these three airport-pairs.
