SA Airlink makes Gaborone its third destination in Botswana

  • SA Airlink, the South African regional airline, commenced a new route from its main base at Johannesburg (JNB) to Gaborone (GBE) on 20 January. The 285-kilometre sector to the capital of Botswana will be flown 10 times weekly by the carrier’s 83-seat Avro RJ85s. The airline’s third link to Botswana faces extensive competition from South African Airways’ 36 weekly flights and Air Botswana’s 32 weekly services.
