- Ukraine International Airlines, the flag carrier and the largest airline of Ukraine, increased its European offering with the launch of a new seasonal service from its Kiev Boryspil (KBP) hub to Adler/Sochi (AER) in Russia on 2 February. The 1,017-kilometre sector will be served five times weekly until 25 February, utilising the carrier’s 178-seat 737-800s. The airline’s new route to the host of the 2014 Winter Olympics will face no competition from other carriers.
