Air Malta introduces Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen link from Malta
- Air Malta began flights from Malta (MLA) base to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on 31 March due to moving its services from Istanbul Atatürk. The 1,405-kilometre sector will be flown twice-weekly (Mondays and Thursdays), utilising the carrier’s 160-seat A320s. There is no direct competition on this airport pair, but Turkish Airlines provides indirect competition by flying from Atatürk with five weekly services.
