Air One expands Sicilian network from Catania and Palermo
- Air One has considerably expanded its route network from Sicily at the start of the summer season. The airline is adding six new routes from Catania (CTA) and four new routes from Palermo (PMO), plus an additional domestic link between Turin (TRN) and Lamezia Terme (SUF). A total of eight different airlines will be providing competition on these routes from the start, with transavia.com operating on the Catania-Amsterdam route from Easter. On the Turin-Lamezia Terme route and on the Catania-Bologna route, Air One replaces the operations of its parent company, Alitalia.
