  • Air Corsica, the French Mediterranean island’s de facto flag carrier, has connected to its first destination in Belgium — Liege (LGG). Starting on 5 April, a weekly (Saturdays) A320-operated flight originates in Ajaccio (AJA), the capital of Corsica. The next day, the airline began a weekly rotation from Bastia (BIA) to Liege. Neither route has any direct competition, and both are expected to see their respective weekly frequency doubled between early July and early September.
