Brussels Airlines is once again operating scheduled services between Brussels Zaventem (BRU) and Seville (SVQ). On 1 April the airline resumed thrice-weekly flights on the 1,710-kilometre service, which it last served on 15 April 2012. A319s will operate the route on which the airline faces no direct competition, though Ryanair does offer daily flights between Seville and Brussels Charleroi. This summer Brussels Airlines will serve six destinations in Spain, the others being Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Malaga.
