flynas kicks-off its long-haul ambitions with Kuala Lumpur service
- flynas, the Saudi Arabian low-cost airline, has embarked upon its first long-haul service, with the start of thrice-weekly A330 operations between Jeddah (JED) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Beginning on 6 April, the new route will face competition from the three market incumbents — all of which offer more weekly frequencies. Saudi Arabian Airlines leads the way with eight weekly flights, with Malaysia Airlines providing a daily service, while fellow LCC AirAsia X offers a five times weekly operation.
