  • TAROM, the flag carrier of Romania that in the previous week resumed Bucharest-Moscow Sheremetyevo service, continued to expand its international network with a new service from Iasi (IAS) to Tel Aviv (TLV) on 7 April. The 1,794-kilometre sector will be served twice-weekly (Mondays and Thursdays), utilising its 134-seat 737-300s. TAROM’s second route to Israel, as it already operates with 10 weekly flights from Bucharest, will face no competition from other carriers.
