SunExpress adds three more European routes from Kayseri and Izmir

  • SunExpress, the Antalya-based joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, added three European links to its offering during the course of last week, all of which are operated weekly, utilising its 189-seat 737-800s. On 8 April, the airline commenced services (Tuesdays) on the 2,807-kilometre sector from Kayseri (ASR) to Amsterdam (AMS). Three days later, on 12 April, SunExpress inaugurated (Saturdays) the 2,201-kilometre airport pair between Izmir (ADB) and Copenhagen (CPH), while on 13 March, it launched operations (Sundays) from Izmir (ADB) to Paris CDG (CDG). There is no competition on these three airport pairs. Furthermore, the service to Copenhagen will see a frequency increase to twice-weekly from 1 May.
