Far Eastern Air Transport adds two routes from Taichung
- Far Eastern Air Transport has introduced two new cross-strait routes from Taichung (RMQ) in Taiwan. On 17 April it began twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) flights on the 1,650-kilometre route to Shijiazhuang (SJW), followed on 18 April by twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) flights on the 1,700-kilometre sector to Taiyuan (TYN). Neither route is served by any other carrier. The airline will use its classic MD-80s to serve these markets.
