Dobrolet starts-up with Simferopol services
Literally meaning ‘good flight’, start-up LCC Dobrolet began four daily flights from its parent’s (Aeroflot) base of Moscow Sheremetyevo to Simferopol in Ukraine on 10 June. Let’s hope the crew live up to the airline’s name.
- Dobrolet, Aeroflot’s start-up LCC off-shoot, began operations on 10 June with its new 189-seat 737-800s. Initially linking Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) and Simferopol (SIP) four times daily, the carrier is planned to start flights to St Petersburg and Samara in August. Its parent company provides the only competition on the route, with 70 weekly flights on the 1,239-kilometre sector.
