Fly Africa launches operations from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
Fly Africa, the latest African low-cost start-up, launched first operations on 23 July from Johannesburg (JNB) to Victoria Falls (VFA) in Zimbabwe. The 925-kilometre route to the city located on the southern bank of the Zambezi River will be operated thrice-weekly, utilising the carrier’s 113-seat 737-500s. Competition on the new airport pair is provided by British Airways (10 weekly flights), South African Airways (daily flights) and Air Zimbabwe (thrice-weekly flights).
