easyJet enters Milan Malpensa-Tenerife South market

  • easyJet started destination #47 from Milan Malpensa (MXP) and its seventh to Spain, adding to its existing flights to Barcelona, Ibiza, Madrid, Mahon, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca, with the start of thrice-weekly operations to Tenerife South (TFS) on 2 September. The 2,961-kilometre sector, will be flown by the LCC’s 180-seat A320, in direct competition with Meridiana, which operates the city pair on a weekly basis. This becomes easyJet’s 12th route to the Canary Island airport, and second from Italy as it already offers flights from Rome Fiumicino airport.
