Air Armenia launches third route to Western Europe

Air Armenia’s Yerevan to Frankfurt

Air Armenia’s first departure from Frankfurt to Yerevan was celebrated on 9 September at Frankfurt Airport with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a large cake which the cabin crew clearly seemed to enjoy. Preparing to cut the ribbon were: Grigori Muradyan, Air Armenia’s Director of Commerce; Simon Avagyan, Air Armenia’s Deputy Director of Marketing; Sergei Senekeremyan, the pilot of the inaugural Air Armenia flight; and Pierre Dominique Prümm, Fraport AG’s Executive SVP, Airside & Terminal Management, Corporate Safety & Security division. Frankfurt is now the airline’s third destination in Western Europe after Athens and Paris CDG. All of these routes are served twice-weekly with the airline’s A320s.
