Czech Airlines’ Prague to Gothenburg via Hamburg
On 16 September, Gothenburg Airport commemorated Czech Airlines’ arrival with services from Prague, operated via Hamburg, a sector which was launched initially on 15 September. Celebrations were marked with a special event at the gate including a fantastic Charles Bridge-themed cake and a ribbon cutting.
- Czech Airlines expanded its presence in the Swedish market with the addition of Gothenburg (GOT) from its Prague (PRG) base, operated via Hamburg (HAM). The 963-kilometre airport pair to the second largest city in Sweden will be served six times weekly from 15 September, utilising the SkyTeam member’s 60-seat ATR 72s. There is no competition on the carrier’s new route. Czech is already serving the Swedish market with five weekly flights to Stockholm Arlanda from Prague. The Czech country market is analysed in more detail in this week’s country feature.
