SkyWork Airlines introduces London Southend link from Bern

On 26 October, SkyWork Airlines touched down for the first time at London Southend from Bern, with 11 weekly flights. Marking the achievement are: Martin Inabit, CEO, SkyWork Airlines; and Roger Clements, CFO, London Southend Airport.

  • SkyWork Airlines began flights from its Bern (BRN) hub to London Southend (SEN) on 26 October due to moving its services from London City. The 716-kilometre sector is not served by any other operator, while SkyWork will operate 11 weekly flights, using its 31-seat Dornier 328s. Commenting on the route launch, Maren Fides Schmelz, CCO, SkyWork, said: “We are pleased to be connected twice-daily with London’s sixth airport, customer friendly London Southend and we are looking forward to an engaging and exciting collaboration. SkyWork Airlines fly passengers from London Southend directly to Bern, located just 10 km from the city centre and easily accessible by train or by car – your ideal starting point for trips in the Swiss mountains.”
