Reykjavik/Keflavik wins Cake of the Week W14/15 Part I; Vote for the best cake – Part II

Reykjavik/Keflavik Airport won the Cake of the Week Vote W14/15 Part I for easyJet’s new service from Geneva, with a close win over the effort baked for easyJet’s London Gatwick to the Icelandic gateway.
Following last week’s impressive 15 cakes, the bakers have been busy once again giving us 17 more cakes for the W14/15 Cake of the Week Part II public vote. The winter scheduling season brought another 140 new routes to the world last week, and once again we put the fate of the airline and airport marketing and PR departments in your hands by asking you to vote for their best cake. Besides fabulous cakes, we have also been sent numerous new route FTWAs – see our Fire Truck Water Arches Part II vote here. Remember the rules are strict: get as many votes as you can to win, and use Twitter, Facebook and only moderate force.
Nevertheless, here’s last week’s results, which saw Reykjavik/Keflavik Airport’s cake for easyJet from Geneva route launch triumph. Furthermore, you’ll note that the cake made by anna.aero – Flybe London City to Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Exeter and Inverness accounted for 7% of total votes. So any accusations of bias are groundless; although charges of competence should probably be heard. N.B. The airport names which are underlined are the bakers of the cakes in question.
