SmartWings expands its Spanish seasonal offering from Poland
SmartWings, the subsidiary of Travel Service Airlines that was recently analysed on anna.aero, increased its Spanish seasonal offering from Warsaw Chopin (WAW) in Poland with two new routes during the course of last week, both of which are operated using its 189-seat 737-800s. On 4 November, the carrier inaugurated the 4,035-kilometre sector to Gran Canaria (LPA) with weekly flights (Tuesdays), a sector served until 28 April. In adition, on 6 November, SmartWings commenced weekly services (Thursdays) to Tenerife South (TFS), which will be flown until 30 April. The airline will face direct competition on both new routes from Norwegian’s weekly flights.
