No other carrier is operating the route. This is the airline’s fourth route from Krabi, from where it serves Bangkok Don Mueang with eight daily flights, Chiang Mai with 11 weekly flights, and Singapore with daily flights. According to Thai AirAsia CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, “Krabi is gaining in popularity with Chinese travellers. Figures indicated that visitors from China were the second most frequent fliers on AirAsia’s Don Mueang-Krabi route after Thais.” Originating in Krabi, the flight arrives in Guangzhou at 01:30 and departs the Chinese airport at 02:20, arriving back in Krabi at 04:50 local time.
