FlySafair jets off from Cape Town to George

On 13 November, FlySafair’s new route to George was celebrated at Cape Town Airport with the traditional water arch salute. The new sector will be operated daily, utilising the airlines’ 737-400s.
- FlySafair, the latest start-up low-cost airline based in South Africa that commenced operations on 16 October, continued to expand with the addition of its third route on 13 November, this time from its Cape Town (CPT) hub to George (GRJ). The new 352-kilometre domestic sector will be served daily, utilising the airline’s 165-seat 737-400s. South African Airways is already flying this route with 24 weekly flights.
