American Airlines touches down at Sao Paulo Viracopos
- American Airlines touched down at Sao Paulo Viracopos (VCP) on 1 December, when it commenced thrice-weekly flights from New York JFK, NY (JFK), utilising its 209-seat 767-300s. No other operator flies this airport pair. Nonetheless, the oneworld member is also gearing up to commence its second route to the Brazilian gateway on 2 December, when it will introduce daily flights from Miami.
