Passengers on board flight JG78 from Sydney bound for Gladstone are ready for take-off. JETGO Australia will operate the domestic city pair 11 times weekly with its 37-seat ERJ-135s.
- JETGO Australia, which until now had specialised in the ACMI market, has launched scheduled domestic services in its own right this week, linking Sydney (SYD) and Gladstone (GLT). Started on 1 December, the 11 times weekly service will be flown by the airline’s 37-seat ERJ 135s and will face no direct competition. JETGO had planned to launch services to Roma in Queensland on the same day, but this service was cancelled just two weeks prior to launch, with the airline citing ‘low demand and economic conditions’ for the decision. See how Gladstone Airport’s FTWA compares to the others sent in this week from around the world.
