Wizz Air Ukraine starts its third Italian route from Lviv

The first Wizz Air Ukraine flight from Lviv to Naples left the Ukrainian airport with 145 passengers (81% load factor) on board on 23 December. The twice-weekly service is the LCC’s third route from the airport, with all destinations being in Italy.

  • Wizz Airline Ukraine began its third route from Lviv (LWO) on 23 December, and its third to Italy, joining existing flights to Milan/Bergamo and Venice Treviso, when it began twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) operations to Naples (NAP). The 1,241-kilometre sector will face no direct competition, apart from a short-lived seasonal operation from Meridiana over the festive season, and is operated by the LCC’s ubiquitous 180-seat A320s.
