germanwings takes over another ex-Lufthansa route

  • germanwings has assumed flying responsibility for yet another route from its parent Lufthansa, beginning a 23 times weekly service between Düsseldorf (DUS) and Zurich (ZRH). The inaugural flight was on 8 January and the 444-kilometre sector will be operated by a variety of equipment. There will be direct competition on the city pair, with airberlin (28 times weekly) and SWISS (20) being the incumbent airlines.
