Air New Zealand resumes Singapore service after over eight year gap
- Air New Zealand has resumed its service to Singapore (SIN) on 6 January, having suspended operations on the route from Auckland (AKL) in October 2006. In reality, the carrier is taking over one of the daily connections on the city pair from Star Alliance partner Singapore Airlines – which previously operated twice-daily, and now flies just daily with its A380s. Air New Zealand will operate a 312-seat 777-200 on the 8,404-kilometre sector.
