Pobeda makes Makhachkala its newest route

Pobeda Makhachkala

  • Pobeda began operations to its 10th domestic network point, just six weeks after its first flight on 1 December. This time the Aeroflot-owned LCC has connected its home base of Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) to Makhachkala (MCX), which is the capital city of the Republic of Dagestan, located on the western shore of the Caspian Sea. Operated on daily basis by the carrier’s 189-seat 737-800s, the 1,585-kilometre sector started on 15 January. Pobeda will face head-to-head competition from UTair, which flies the same city pair also on a daily basis.
