Indonesia AirAsia Extra makes Taipei its first route
Indonesia AirAsia Extra appears to have had something of a soft launch, operating its first commercial service on Monday 19 January between Denpasar (DPS) and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE). After the initial launch flight the 3,800-kilometre route will be served weekly (Fridays outbound, Saturdays return) from 30 January to the end of March, when the service increases to four weekly flights. An A330 will operate the route, which is already flown by China Airlines (daily) and EVA Air (five weekly flights).
