Azul Airlines expands domestically with eight new routes

  • Azul Airlines increased its domestic offering with the addition of eight routes from Belo Horizonte (CNF), Presidente Prudente (PPB) and Uberlandia (UDI) during the course of the last week. With the longest sector being the 2,351-kilometre sector from Presidente Prudente (PPB) to Recife (REC), and the shortest being inaugurated from Presidente Prudente (PPB) to Londrina (LDB) at 140 kilometres, Azul will face no competition on any of the eight new additions. Interestingly, the average weekly frequency across the eight new routes is 1.6.
