JETGO Australia gets going on Brisbane to Tamworth

On their way to Tamworth (not the one near where anna.aero’s editor lives, but the one in Australia). The thrice-weekly, ERJ 135-operated JETGO Australia service from Brisbane started on 2 March.

  • JETGO Australia, which primarily operates as an ACMI and charter airline, has started domestic scheduled services between Brisbane (BNE) and Tamworth (TMW) on 2 March. The 466-kilometre sector is flown thrice-weekly by the airline’s 37-seat ERJ 135s and will face no direct competition on the city pair. JETGO had started domestic scheduled operations between Gladstone and Sydney last year, but these flights were pulled on 9 February, with the airline citing a lack of “any significant corporate support for the services” as one of the main reasons for the route being withdrawn.
