Red Wings Airlines serves Simferopol from St Petersburg
- Red Wings Airlines has started a S15 expansion at St Petersburg (LED), with the launch of thrice-weekly services to Simferopol (SIP) on 21 March, its seventh domestic route from the former airport. The 1,658-kilometre sector will face direct competition from incumbents Aeroflot (12 times weekly) and Yamal Airlines (four times weekly). The city pair will operated by the airline’s Tu-204 fleet and will be joined by two further new routes from St Petersburg later in the summer.
