Ryanair starts first flight to Copenhagen

  • Ryanair commenced the 1,239-kilometre city pair from Dublin (DUB) to Copenhagen (CPH) on 18 March. The daily, 189-seat 737-800-operated service will face considerable competition from SAS (eight times weekly), Aer Lingus (daily) and Norwegian (twice-weekly). This route becomes the airline’s first to the Danish capital, with Copenhagen becoming the ULCC’s 70th base next week, with the launch of several more new routes. This will be Ryanair’s second base in Denmark after Billund.
