Lufthansa adds five new European routes
On 30 March, Aalborg Airport celebrated with a special event (including an impressive cake) the arrival of Lufthansa from Frankfurt. The Star Alliance carrier becomes the airport’s fourth biggest airline in terms of weekly seats, behind SAS, Norwegian and KLM.

- Lufthansa expanded its European network with five new routes during the course of last week, four of which were launched from its Frankfurt (FRA) hub to Aalborg (AAL), Bydgoszcz (BZG), Seville (SVQ) and Verona (VRN). In addition, the Star Alliance member introduced weekly flights on the 1,875-kilometre sector from Munich (MUC) to Seville (SVQ), a route already served by Vueling.
