Ryanair adds 21 more new routes to its S15 network
On 29 March, Ryanair opened a new base at Bratislava Airport coinciding with the launch of its thrice-weekly flights to Madrid the following day. The base opening was welcomed by a performance from the Freerun Slovakia Group in the terminal and a ribbon cutting by: Ivan Trhlík, CEO, Bratislava Airport; Colm O’Shea, Marketing and Sales Manager for Austria Germany Netherlands Switzerland, Ryanair; Anne-Marie Callan, Irish Ambassador to Slovakia; and Dusan Matulay, Slovak Ambassador to Ireland.
- Ryanair started the summer season with the addition of 21 new routes during the last seven days. A total of 30 airports have benefitted from the additional services, with only six of the routes facing direct competition. Three of the 21 routes will be served with twice-daily departures, namely Copenhagen (CPH) to London Luton (LTN), Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Bari (BRI) as well as Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to Brindisi (BDS). Notably, the average weekly frequency across the 21 new routes is around 6.2.
